On the 16th of April Rudy Trouvé will play twice in Antwerp.
At 2 pm he will play a duo set with percussion wizard Eric Thielemans in Fat Kat to celebrate Record Store Day.
At 10 pm it’s time for a solo Heaven Hotel Songbook set at the Leftfield festival in CC Berchem.
“Mood Ring”, the new album by Angels Die Hard will come out on the 6th of May through Heaven Hotel and Sonic Rendez-Vous.

Muzikant / schilder Rudy Trouvé (bekend van de eerste platen van dEUS, Dead Man Ray en zichzelf) zal, begeleid door een loopstation en voorzien van een videoprojectie, liedjes spelen uit het grote Heaven Hotel Songbook.
Dingen die hij maakte voor theater, Kiss My Jazz, Gore Slut, The Love Substitutes, Tape Cuts Tape, Pasmans en The Rudy Trouvé Octet.
Verwacht u aan een intieme set, al eens onderbroken door animatiefilmpjes… iets tussen een klassiek singersongwriter-optreden en een jaren ’70 dia-avond
Elko is currently occupied with a new play by Wim Vandekeybus called Speak Low When You Speak Of Love. The music is composed and played live by Mauro Pawlowski, Elko Blijweert and Jeroen Stevens. For this occasion they are joined by the remarkable south african singer Tutu Puoane. Jeroen does a great acting job as well!
A new Left Bank Drive album is being made during this summer. It will again contain music composed by Elko and Joris and Simon Lenski and Frans Van Isacker are being featured…
Also Angels Die hard are working on a new album! The recordings are finished and they are currently mixing it down.
Rudy is preparing solo gigs and finishing a coupe of albums…
Tape Cuts Tape will play together with Taxi Wars at Openluchttheater Oostende on 30th August!
Up until the year 2010 guitar hero Elko Blijweert and saxophone virtuoso Frans Van Isacker brought jazz music to the rocking masses as key members of Franco Saint De Bakker. Now they have joined forces again to bring us “Atlajala Land”, a voyage through time and space that takes the listener from avant-garde free jazz over melancholic melodies to the sensual sounds of a late-night make-out session in an abandoned castle.

This spring has been quite busy for Rudy Trouvé. He was featured on national television in De Canvasconnectie and he hosted some fine label nights. Tape Cuts Tape released Lost Footage in March and presented it in a few clubs.
Today Tape Cuts Tape presents it’s brand new video, called “Scales In Orange And Grey” (featuring DAAU).
Tape Cuts Tape shares the bill with Taxi Wars at Openluchttheater, Oostende on 30th August. After summer break Tape Cuts Tape will tour again. Rudy Trouvé also plans a solo tour!
