Tomorrow, 29 November, electric guitar quartet Zwerm will present their latest album “Badminton In Tehran” at De Singel in Antwerp. The LP is released on Zwerm’s Time Goes By imprint and was produced by Rudy Trouvé. Zwerm’s Toon Callier was a guest on yesterday’s episode of Radio Centraal‘s Het Kralenspel which you can listen to here. “Badminton In Tehran” will be available in all record stores as of tomorrow. Fresh Bandcamp additions and a rare live appearance by Blijweert/Van Isacker
Slowly but surely all in-print Heaven Hotel releases are being added to our Bandcamp page. Go there now to stream and/or buy all three volumes of Franco Saint De Bakker’s “Live At The Ancienne Belgique” series as well as FSDB members Elko Blijweert & Frans Van Isacker’s duo album. Our Bandcamp page is expanding slowly but surely: three rare tapes have just been added. One contains a recording of a 1997 concert by Gore Slut in Nandrin, another the collaboration between Rudy Trouvé and Intige Taluure and the third is the cassette version of the soundtrack to “Screen” (which is stil touring as we speak!). The Screen Show Band (Elko Blijweert, Warre Borgmans, Gunter Nagels, Mauro Pawlowski & Rudy Trouvé) made new (Dutch-sung) versions of some old Robert Johnson songs. Which means The Musicians, obviously. They are playing at Het Oude Badhuis in Antwerp tomorrow. Het Oude Badhuis presenteert: De Muzikanten 7 topmuzikanten (uit o.a. The internet teaches us this is a place in the south of France not far from the famous Mont Ventoux (and only a 10 hour drive from Antwerp city).
